Did
you
know
that when a Law Enforcement K-9 retires here in Pasco County, he/she receives no medical benefits? These K-9 Heroes put their lives on the line and put their bodies through extreme physical conditions, which means that these dogs always need long-term medical care. That said, the Officer/Deputy that takes them home as a member of the family is solely responsible for the cost. We firmly believe that these wonderful K-9 Heroes, having served their community, deserve the benefit of full medical coverage in retirement. That’s where we step in.
WHO WE ARE
Led by the DeLuca family and a powerful team of incredible volunteers, dedicated sponsors and generous donors, we continually strive to expand our network and grow this amazing program.
WHAT WE DO
Pasco’s Retired K-9 Foundation supports our participating Retired Law Enforcement K-9s by providing full medical coverage without limitation at no cost to their families.
HOW WE DO IT
Funds are raised through charitable donations, Meet & Greets and our flagship event, the Annual Retired K-9 Classic Golf Tournament. Funds raised cover veterinary services as well as holistic treatments for our Retired K-9 Heroes.
